Sammy

Sammy is a highly versatile vocalist with nearly two decades of experience performing live across the UK and internationally. She has been able to adapt her skills as a full-time singer/performer to helping others as a singing teacher. After completing a BA honours in professional musicianship at the Bristol Institute of Modern Music in 2016, accredited through Bath Spa University, Sammy has worked in numerous Primary Schools teaching PPA Music to both key stage one and two pupils, teaching music theory and singing.

She also has experience in Musical Theatre having performed in various production shows at Warner Leisure Hotels and attended Bath Musical Theatre Academy. Sammy can help prepare students for auditions in Musical Theatre using acting through song and to help with their repertoire and can also help students prepare for LCM Musical Theatre grades 1-8. Sammy is currently teaching one-to-one sessions online (using Zoom) with students aged 6 and above. She teaches students of all abilities and experience, developing vocals through a variety of techniques including warm-ups and breathing. Sammy can also teach various genres, helping you progress by learning your favourite songs along the way. As a performer herself she can help develop your stage presence by using different performance-based techniques which will help your confidence as well as prepare you for gigs or exams.

Leo

Whether you want to pursue your recording dreams or simply have a great time learning and singing in a warm relaxed environment then Leo is an exceptional and inspiring vocal coach. Lessons are tailored to your needs and will draw on music across genres to help develop your voice and style.

Leo Wood is also a signed, singer songwriter recording artist with tracks topping 3million plays and rising. An industry entrepreneur with music spanning across dance genres as well as solo acoustic. She is releasing on leading labels including Defected, Hospital, Anjuna Deep (to name a small few) and has a lot to offer singer songwriters and anyone interested in the business of becoming a successful recording vocalist.

Alba

Alba's focus is on learning the right techniques to be able to develop your singing potential. Once you have the right techniques your confidence will grow, you will feel stronger as a singer and as a musician.

The technique may be important, but it is also crucial to feel relaxed and comfortable when singing, so Alba balances this out with making her lessons fun and creating an easy going environment to learn in. Alba welcomes students from the age of 10 upwards for her singing lessons.

Alba is a professional singer fronting two different projects, one of original material and the other a covers band. She also works as a backing vocalist for a soul band. With all projects she actively tours and gigs worldwide. Alba spends a lot of time in the studio recording both lead and backing vocals and has a broad range of studio experience.

Extensive gigging means that Alba knows the scene well and can help students branch out to do some open-mics or jam sessions. She is happy to do songwriting workshops with students' own material and can even offer recording experience with her studio setup.

Sabrina

Sabrina is a professional Italian jazz and contemporary vocalist, singing teacher, and choir leader based in Bristol. She graduated with First-Class Honours in BA (Hons) Music from Bath Spa University.

Sabrina believes that learning to sing should be both joyful and empowering. Sabrina says: “Singing isn’t just about singing songs. Our voice is a powerful tool, capable of shaping every note to better express who we are. This journey will lead you to discover yourselves, grow in confidence, and effectively communicate emotions through music.”

Sabrina offers private singing lessons both in person and online (using Zoom) for students of all ages (from the age of 10 upwards) and abilities, with a focus on vocal health, technical development, and expressive confidence. Her teaching draws on a wide range of vocal pedagogies and is supported by her recent completion of the Estill Voice Training Levels 1 and 2 courses, equipping her with a science-based understanding of vocal function that helps students achieve greater control, versatility, and freedom in their singing.

In addition to vocal training, Sabrina offers Music Theory lessons, including preparation for ABRSM grade exams (Grades 1–5). With experience in vocal recording and music production using DAWs such as Ableton Live, she also provides guidance on recording techniques, MIDI composition, and fundamentals of mixing and mastering.

Originally from Italy, Sabrina has over a decade of training and performance experience. She has foundational training in opera singing and specialisation in contemporary, jazz, soul, blues, funk, gospel and R&B. She was finalist in the Italian singing competition “Premio Mia Martini 2011”.

Since moving to Bristol in 2017, she founded her jazz ensemble “Sabrina & the Relatives and performed across Bath. During this time, she also discovered a deep passion for choir leadership and singing teaching, now core part of her musical career.
